Summary: Tabvora is a free, open-source, local-first Chrome Extension licensed under the MIT License. By using Tabvora, you agree that your data stays strictly on your device and that software is provided "as is" without warranty.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Tabvora Chrome extension or official website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall the extension immediately.

2. Open Source License (MIT)

Tabvora is free and open-source software distributed under the permissive MIT License. You are free to inspect, modify, fork, and distribute the code under the condition that the original copyright notice and permission notice remain intact.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

3. Data Management & User Responsibility

Tabvora functions with a strict local-first architecture. All workspace configurations, shortcuts, and scratchpad notes reside inside your local browser storage (chrome.storage.local and IndexedDB). We do not maintain cloud servers or remote backups of your data. Therefore, you are solely responsible for creating local backups of your data if needed.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

In compliance with Google Chrome Web Store Developer Policies, you agree NOT to:

  • • Attempt to inject malicious scripts, adware, or telemetry trackers into modified versions of Tabvora.
  • • Use Tabvora for any illegal activity or in violation of local privacy regulations.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors of Tabvora shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from lost browser data, session crashes, or inability to access local extension storage.

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be published directly to this page alongside an updated effective date.
